Redwoods Oasis: Zones for Connection, Creation & Celebration

We have named these i-zones after the 7 sisters star cluster Pleiades. In New Zealand this is known as the Matariki star cluster to signal the beginning of the Māori New Year. Redwoods Oasis is the whole ZONE - Matariki (Alcyone)

i-gather zone

KITCHEN i-gather zone - Introducing TAYGETA (Waitā ) The kitchen is considered the heart of any home. You will experience a fabulous fully equipped caterers kitchen for the group who wants to cook together​. A long communal table built for exactly this: sixteen people, a shared meal, nowhere else to be.

 

A fully equipped outdoor kitchen BBQ Zone with Crossways Gas BBQ and drinks fridge with all the relevant utensils to cook up and create dishes fit for your kings and queens. Compete for your group ‘Tong-Master’ award as you bring out your master chef on the grill.  The indoor ~ outdoor flow of the living spaces are designed for fun and conversation around the tables together.

i-sleep zone

The i-Sleep Zone at Redwoods Oasis offers the perfect balance of relaxation and rejuvenation. Six bedrooms + the Hangout Hive bunk room, each considered in its own right. Comfortable beds, quality linen, blackout curtains, and enough bathrooms that mornings do not require negotiation. Rest is not an afterthought.

 

Our i-chill zone invites you to unwind and recharge. With outdoor couches set amidst tranquil surroundings, it’s the ideal space to read, relax, and simply be. Whether you’re connecting in meaningful conversation or taking time to disconnect and reflect, these spaces are thoughtfully crafted to help you reconnect with what truly matters.

i-dip zone

The i-Dip Zone is a sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation. The heated pool  sits at the centre of the outdoor space. This is where the group finds itself at the end of the day (and sometimes in the middle of it). The outdoor garden rainfall shower, spa and sauna all add layers of restoration. There is no timetable here.

 

The Nordic sauna experience provides the ultimate relaxation, designed to rejuvenate your body and mind. Surrounded by native planting and natural stone, the i-Dip Zone invites you to immerse yourself in blissful tranquility and elevate your wellbeing.

The i-flow zone at Redwoods Oasis is a peaceful haven designed for mindfulness and relaxation. Darren and Sarah’s place is a lovely, quiet and private unit in a beautiful part of Auckland’s North Shore. They are lovely, accommodating hosts and made us feel right at home

Whakarewarewa Forest is fifty metres from the front gate. Mountain bike trails, walking tracks, and the Redwoods Treewalk are on your doorstep.
That  means the group who wants to get out can, and the group who wants to stay in can do that too. Both are equally right.
